Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

This policy explains how RaceQ handles personal data when you visit this website or get in touch. We keep data collection to a minimum, we use no cookies or tracking, and we never sell your data.

01Who we are

RaceQ is a motorsport engineering practice based in the Czech Republic. For the purposes of data protection law, RaceQ is the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at company@raceq.net with any question about this policy or your data.

02What data we collect

We only receive personal data that you choose to give us. This happens in two ways:

  • When you use the contact form on this site, it opens a draft in your own email application containing the details you entered, such as your name, email address, your team or series or car, and the message you write. The email is then sent from your own mail account to company@raceq.net.
  • When you email us directly, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message.

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking on this website. Our hosting provider may record limited technical information such as IP addresses in standard server logs, for security and reliability.

03Why we use your data

We use your data only to read and respond to your enquiry, and to discuss whether and how we can help you. Under the GDPR, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and communicating with potential clients, and, where you ask us to provide a service, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

04Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We rely on trusted service providers to operate, such as email and website hosting providers. These providers act on our behalf and only process data as needed to deliver their service. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, in which case appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

05How long we keep it

We keep the messages you send us for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and to keep reasonable records of our communication. When the data is no longer needed, we delete it.

06Your rights

If you are in the European Union, you have the right to access your personal data, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at company@raceq.net.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), at www.uoou.cz.

07Links to other sites

Our website links to our profiles on Facebook and Instagram. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
